Succesful start-up of NWC system in the North Sea
Norwater AS has during the recent months been running a project to supply a new freshwater maker system to the NCS of the North Sea. The skid-based system, integrating both pre-filtration and post-treatment with the reverse osmosis unit of NWC type, was commissioned end of March and taken into use by the unnamed operator’s crew offshore. The output capacity of the system is 25 M3/day of freshwater.
The system is non-NORSOK, illustrating once again a shift in the industry towards more marine- and makers’ standard design solutions. Norwater AS has recently supplied marine standard systems to several installations in the North Sea.
Norwater AS has delivered more than 300 systems world wide to the marine-, offshore- and fish farming industries.
